RESPONSIBILITIES
At HR Services EMEA in our Service Hub Berlin, we stand for comprehensive HR service delivery throughout the region Europe, Middle East & Africa. We rely on more than ten years of high-quality service delivery as BASF's internal service provider. For our Northern Europe Team, HR Services EMEA, we are currently looking for a candidate for the position Specialist HR Admin to support for the UK & Ireland.
• You are responsible for the ongoing service delivery for all administration of employee life cycle events and handle HR topics such as HR reporting and supporting the HR payroll team.
• You will provide administrative support to the UK & Ireland HR Business Partner team in all HR core processes through the provision of accurate and timely administration, including onboarding, development, leavers, pay & hours calculations.
• You are responsible for generating letters, documents, and templates for the HR team to allow them to deliver the needs of the business.
• You understand, interpret, and provide timely and accurate guidance and advice on HR policies and practices and systems to managers and employees, including the delivery of standard operational HR processes.
• You promote innovation and collaborate in internal projects, identify possible digitalization initiatives, and encourage best practice sharing amongst our European HR teams.
• You contribute to our knowledge management by documenting all processes and relevant legal regulations in accordance with our high-quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
• You have completed secondary school or equivalent and you preferably have a degree/certificate in a HR related field.
• You have 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
• You have experience with HR tools (ideally SAP HR) and are confident with the MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Towards customers and partners, you always present yourself in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Whilst working towards deadlines, you demonstrate very strong analytical and organizational skills.
• You excel in collaborative team environments, but also exhibit the capability to work autonomously with an open-minded perspective.
• You are fluent in English
