The DiscoveryAccount Manager (North-West Germany) is responsible forcustomer relationship across the account. Primary contact betweenthe company and customers and grows the business through anunderstanding of the market, an awareness and familiarity with theneeds of customer, and knowledge of the product portfolio.
This position reports to theDiscovery AM Zone Leader and is part of the Discovery & MedicalOpCo located in Germany and will be fullyremote.
Whatyou will do:
* RepresentCytiva and function as a primary customer point of contact in allallocated accounts and in the territory for Discovery customersegments.
* Expand the business, gain marketshare, and grow sales & order at expected margins. Achieveannual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of allbusiness technologies and capabilities within all modalities whichare relevant to this account.
* Providetechnical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed,aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop, andsupport solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations.
* Identify opportunities and support team indeveloping opportunities.
* Develop andmaintain a full understanding of the Cytiva value proposition and ahigh-level knowledge of competitive products and services.
* Prospecting, forecasting, generatingproposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planningcustomer visits at all levels of the customer organization.
* Negotiating master agreements and contracts,including terms and conditions as well as facilitating tenderresponses to customers from the account, in conjunction withproduct sales specialists as needed.
Who youare:
* Bachelor’s degree inbusiness, Life sciences or relevant field.
* 3-5years commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnologyindustry.
* Sales techniques include crossselling, upselling, value positions and funnel management.
* Ability to translate technical advantagesinto business benefits.
* Experience in workingwith QlikSense and/or Sales Force
Travel,Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
* Ability to travel – up to 60 % incl. overnight, within Germany
* Must have a valid driver’s license with anacceptable driving record
Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
* DBS (Danaher BusinessSystem) growth tools
* Experience in workingwith QlikSense and/or Sales Force
