We are seeking a Finance Director to lead the financial restructuring and turnaround of a newly acquired distressed automotive company. The company faces severe cash flow challenges and requires a strategic leader to stabilize and optimize financial operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in restructuring, cash management, and financing, with experience working in high-pressure turnaround environments. Given the company’s global presence, intercultural management skills and willingness to travel are essential.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Determining the financial structures' potential for optimisation in the investments
* Financial Operations & Cash Management
* At the portfolio level, the forecasting and budgeting process is validated and optimised.
* Oversight of both short- and long-term cash management
* Assistance with the day-to-day execution of financing products and correspondence with financing partners.
* Developing KPI systems and establishing controlling mechanisms for data-driven corporation management.
* Performing target-actual evaluations to pinpoint areas for improvement and put suitable actions.
* Maintaining communication and cooperating with the portfolio firms' financial departments.
Your Qualifications and Requirements:
* Proven experience in financial restructuring and turnaround management.
* Strong background in cash management, project/product accounting, and consolidation.
* Experience working with banks on financing solutions.
* Automotive industry experience preferred.
* Strong intercultural management skills and ability to lead global teams.
* Willingness to travel internationally and be on site in the week.
