Tasks & responsibilities - In your new role, you will take the scientific lead on complex digital technology projects, spanning across departments or the entire organization. This includes overseeing their implementation and documentation, such as guidances and publications. - Your business expertise will be crucial in supporting these projects and contributing to patent applications. - You will enrich our daily operations in CMC drug development by guaranteeing access to appropriate digital technologies. These range from digital infrastructure, like LIMS, to advanced AI or mechanistic modelling approaches. - As a Digital Lead, you will contribute on aspects of the Dev Bio Digital Strategy and Roadmap in interdisciplinary, cross-divisional teams and be responsible to drive the digital change within the department. - Furthermore, you will scout digital technologies and scientific approaches for new digital initiatives. - Additionally, you will spearhead digital solutions for our drug portfolio and manage a matrix team, promoting collaboration and demonstrating leadership. Requirements - PhD with several years of relevant professional experience in the technological, or industrial development of biological drugs with a deep-rooted passion for digital topics. Alternatively Master's degree in a relevant field with long-term, professional experience in the field. - Proven application knowledge on digital technologies with respect to their capabilities as well as limitations - Several years of experience in project management (in matrix function) or personnel management, international experience is advantageous. Excellent leadership skills required - Distinct and adapted communicative skills, in various internal e.g., diverse BI internal stakeholders and external e.g., external / scientific project partners, authorities, conferences contexts - Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented with a visionary mindset, social competence, as well as team spirit - Fluent language skills in German and English Ready to contact us?
