On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Medical Science Partner (m/f/d) with a focus on COPD. In this position, you will be responsible for managing and implementing clinical study projects. You will act as the primary on-site liaison for study physicians working with the company. Your responsibilities will include overseeing Phase I to III studies, non-interventional studies, facilitating "Investigator Initiated Studies", and managing retrospective data collections.
You will engage with key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of studies and contribute to an in-depth understanding of the study environment in COPD. Serving as a link between medical and non-medical roles within the company, both locally and globally, your insights from customer interactions will inform research and product strategies in the COPD field.
Key Responsibilities:
* Acting as the main point of contact for physicians involved in clinical studies, facilitating scientific discussions, and fostering collaboration.
* Collaborating with Pharma Development Germany and Medical Affairs Excellence to support the preparation and recruitment for Phase I to III studies, non-interventional studies, and investigator-initiated studies, as well as retrospective analyses.
* Identifying and pre-selecting nationally and internationally active research physicians and study centers.
* Enhancing study management processes with PDG and MAE and generating insights into the study and therapy landscape.
* Assisting the Squad in evaluating and assessing the feasibility of new global study ideas to contribute to global discussions.
* Acting as a resource and point of contact for clinical study activities within the EcoUnit.
Requirements:
* A completed degree in a scientific, pharmaceutical, or medical field (Master's or equivalent). Alternatively, significant experience in a customer-facing role within the pharmaceutical industry is acceptable. Medical expertise in the disease area and experience in supporting clinical projects in a customer-facing role.
* Exceptional contact and communication skills, strong social competence, and a commitment to a feedback culture within cross-functional teams.
* The ability to adapt positively to changes and take entrepreneurial, solution-oriented actions.
* A dedicated and creative personality, capable of taking on content leadership responsibilities and innovating with digital interactions.
* Proficiency with communication tools and IT solutions (Google Suite, Office applications, Zoom, etc.), and excellent presentation and moderation skills.
* Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
* A good understanding of the healthcare system and the pharmaceutical market is an advantage.
* Qualification as a pharmaceutical representative according to AMG is required.
