Primary Objective of Position
9. Responsible for local month end close, including system processes, submissions, accruals.
10. Provide in depth financial analysis when requested by key stakeholders. Generate and communicate insights and propose solutions and actions based on the analysis conducted.
11. Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.
12. Perform Planning, Reporting and Analysis process
13. Support monthly financial IBP and quarterly LBE process.
14. Support Acquisition teams and Customer Experience group through financial calculations
15. Ensure professional support for cross Division shared service responsibilities.
16. Support implementation of process improvements across department and work groups.
17. Assist with training and coaching of more junior finance staff.
18. Participate in various financial projects and provide information for management for decision making.
19. Ensure compliance with Abbott policies and procedures.
Requirements
20. University degree, preferably in a Business or Finance/Accounting related discipline.
21. MBA/CPA/CFA preferred.
22. A minimum of 5 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in international environment
23. Attention to detail (in data consolidation, reporting, analytics, analyzing trends)
24. Strong business partner attitude to support the Commercial business groups.
25. Strong organizational and management skills.
26. Must have excellent system skills, aptitude and experience, especially with Excel, knowledge of SAP, PowerPoint, previous experience with financial forecasting & reporting systems a plus.
27. Fluent in English and German.
