About the position
The Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) oversees driving our Integrated Circuits Solution (ICS) portfolio into the market. In this role, it is necessary to analyze and understand customer needs and to align with sales personnel to develop a regional business plan which supports successful design-in of our portfolio (with heightened focus on New Product Introductions, NPIs).
What you will do
1. Be the voice of ICS within the EMEA region; an evangelist and local expert
2. Be the voice of the EMEA region back to the Business Group; offering key regional insights and feedback
3. Define and implement regional-, segment- and/or application specific go-to-market strategies that will deliver concrete results with respect to market share and opportunity conversion in the design funnel
4. Drive business creation by promoting our latest NPIs, within the context of our larger portfolio, and through and with our sales colleagues
5. Train regional sales colleagues on latest NPIs, roadmap plans, and core competitive strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (a.k.a. SWOT analysis)
6. Ensure continuous alignment with sales colleagues regarding roadmap updates, customer strategies, key initiatives, sales outlook and any gaps to current year sales planning and/or long-term (2-3 years out) financial outlook
7. Work with operations to ensure smooth ramps on larger design-ins; particularly on products which are in their first year of public release
8. Identify the right measures to differentiate our products in the market, including finding adjacent markets and potential customers
9. Partner with Commercial Marketing colleagues to define, drive, and/or measure specific customer and/or distribution channel incentive programs
10. Partner with Digital Marketing to support local events – trade shows, distributor training sessions, and similar promotion opportunities
11. Organize and lead marketing campaigns to push selected portfolios into the market based on identified application trends and supported by end equipment solution and/or “success story” collateral
12. Gain insights on key market players, understand competitor dynamics/tactics, and communicate those back into the R&D business groups
13. Provide analysis on the success of our portfolio per segment and region and identify and share additional NPI/roadmap opportunities which could increase our Sales Available Market (SAM)
What you will need
14. Master’s degree, preferably in Business Marketing or Electrical/Industrial Engineering
15. Minimum 5 years working experience in B2B marketing, preferably in or with exposure to the semiconductor industry and/or industrial market segment
16. Proven ability to work with sales - meeting regional sales targets and aligning on long-term financial plans underpinned with customer/project/part targets
17. Proven ability to drive design-in qualifications for NPIs
18. Proven experience with B2B marketing methodologies and tactics
19. Proven ability to manage distributor relationships and develop effective programs
20. Power and signal path semiconductor experience preferred
21. Proficient Microsoft Office skills (esp. Excel, PowerPoint)
22. Intercultural awareness and ability to work in international teams
23. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in English, any additional language is beneficial
24. Proven analytical skills and structured work approach together with a strong customer focus
25. Ability to travel ~50% (EMEA) to support sales and meet customers
