We are a research, development, and production site in Bremen currently, with about 500 employees, whose “high-end” measurement and analysis instruments (mass spectrometers) are used in research and science worldwide.
As a Product Manager “New HRAM Technology” at Life Science Mass Spectrometry at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our market leading product portfolio. By assuming primary responsibility for product revenue and driving profitable growth, you will play a vital role in our success. We are a world-class organization with a proven track record of delivering first class products to our customers. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D and Vertical Marketing, to develop and implement product strategies that meet customer needs and drive demand generation.
A Day in the Life:
1. Collect voice of customer and competitive insights to define product development opportunities.
2. Select product features and develop value propositions, validating them with customers before launch.
3. Drive the new product development and introduction process (NPDI), ensuring successful launch and commercialization.
4. Deliver technical presentations to the sales organization and key customers.
5. Handle the entire product lifecycle, from inception to end-of-life.
6. Define global market segmentation and positioning strategy for the product portfolio.
7. Develop financial models and prepare analyses to effectively run the profit and loss for the product line.
Keys to Success:
Education
8. A master’s degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Physics, Engineering, or a field relevant to the position from an accredited institution is required. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
9. Advanced degrees in business, science, or marketing are a plus.
Experience
10. Couple of years of relevant professional experience in the life science market, mass-spectrometry based proteomics and/or analytical instruments like mass spectrometry.
11. Prior product management experience preferred.
12. Practical experience in requirement engineering is a plus.

13. Outstanding project management skills to efficiently implement product strategies.
14. Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams at different sites globally.
