As part of the Manco Oversight & Product Management team, you will be involved in the execution of the regulatory oversight duties of delegated activities of collective investment schemes (UCIs).
The ManCo Oversight Manager is responsible for supporting the organization’s outsourcing governance framework including oversight & control as well as reporting duties in connection to the delegated activities.
Your role
* Take part in monitoring and control activities of the team relating to the oversight missions of the delegated activities such as Portfolio management, Central administration (including NAV calculation, valuation, taxes…).
* Perform initial and periodic Due diligence, onsite visits and ongoing monitoring of entities to which services have been delegated by the Management Company.
* Review and prepare KPIs and reports to present or escalate findings to senior management and/or Board of Directors.
* Implement an effective global oversight control framework to maximise efficiency and minimize risk.
* Implementing, evaluating and, where required, amending oversight procedures. And working instructions.
* Help maintain the ongoing monitoring and control framework and, if required, define new tasks of controls deemed necessary.
* Identify opportunities to enhance oversight processes and operational efficiency.
* Implement oversight procedures, evaluate their effectiveness, and make necessary amendments as required.
* Manage regulatory escalation processes.
* Manage requests such as due diligence questionnaire and RFPs from clients
* Participate in new business initiatives and identification of new solutions.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, reporting obligations, and disclosure standards. Collaborate with Compliance, Legal teams to address any regulatory issues and implement necessary changes.
* Participate in lifecycle management of product activities.
* Contribute to the review of regulatory reportings.
* Contribute to the review of Fund’s Annual and semi-annual reports.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as UCI’s auditors, internal audit.
Your profile
Qualification and experience
⦁ University degree in Finance, Economics, Law or Management, or an educational background deemed equivalent.
⦁ Experience in a similar position or in another position dealing with the same domains of activity, such as Management company, UCI’s Auditor, Central administration etc.
Specific Knowledge
⦁ In depth knowledge with the regulatory environment applicable to the investment activity of UCIs (AIFMD, UCITS), and in particular a sound knowledge of the requirements relating to the oversight function.
⦁ Sound general knowledge of fund structures, products, investments (including ESG and EMIR).
⦁ Skilled user if analytical tools (excel & Tableau).
Language skills
⦁ Written and spoken fluency in French and English.
⦁ Another language would be considered an advantage.
Personal qualities
⦁ Rigorous and with analytical skills and a keen interest in regulatory matters.
⦁ Ability to work autonomously and with different kind of stakeholders.
⦁ Willingness to take ownership of problems and initiative to solve them.
⦁ Dynamic and able to show initiative in solving problems.
⦁ Strong communication skills.
