Your mission with us As a Data Privacy Manager (f/m/x), your role in helping us achieve our mission will be to ensure compliance with data protection regulations across the organization, supporting our European teams with expert guidance and oversight. In this role, you will handle data protection requests from European teams, monitor compliance, and document essential information within the Data Protection Management System. You will address data protection incidents, manage inquiries from data subjects, and assist the lead in communicating with supervisory authorities. Additionally, you'll train and advise data protection coordinators, optimize data protection processes, and provide legal advice on contracts related to data protection laws and regulations. What you can expect from us Management of data protection systems for the European market Handling internal data protection requests Communication with external providers and business partners Reviewing service provider requirements Developing and maintaining guidelines, overviews, and necessary data protection documentation Analyzing current data protection standards and continuously monitoring compliance with data protection regulations Providing legal support and evaluation for various data protection projects Reviewing and drafting data protection contracts (e.g., data processing agreements and joint controller agreements) Serving as a contact person for management, executives, employees, and patients on data protection issues Raising employee awareness about data protection and ensuring commitment to data confidentiality Conducting data protection training for employees Your profile A degree in economics, law, computer science, security management, or a comparable field In-depth knowledge of relevant data protection regulations At least 3 years of professional experience as a data protection officer or consultant Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with software programs Willingness to take on responsibility and find practical solutions Highly structured and conscientious work style Familiarity with the relevant regulations of the GDPR and BDSG; knowledge of DiGA-specific regulations is a plus but not required Fluent in German and English Be passionate about Sidekick’s mission Be humble, yet driven and determined Have a team-first mentality Why us?
