What you’ll do
* Develop and refine our corporate strategy with an additional focus on identifying and pursuing M&A opportunities together with senior stakeholders and x-functional teams
* Align and drive our strategy across all relevant functions, ensuring impact and a successful implementation
* Translate our corporate strategy into a M&A strategy, be the first contact point for new M&A deals and autonomously pursue initial discussions and assessments
* Assess M&A opportunities in terms of value creation and strategic fit together with x-functional internal teams across our markets
* Manage and lead M&A transactions from origination, due diligence, research, analysis and the investment committee process together with senior stakeholders from the management team and our shareholders
* Oversee integration of completed acquisitions together with business owners and support the delivery of synergies
What you should bring
* Min 5 years experience in a top consultancy, investment bank, investment firm or similar corporate function
* Strong strategic thinking and ability to align cross functional teams behind a strategy; experience in digital business models or the Auto industry is a plus
* Relevant experience and track record in managing or supporting M&A transactions from origination to due diligence
* Strong analytical and modelling skills
* Team player with excellent verbal and written skills and demonstrated experience in communicating and influencing senior stakeholders
* Strong judgement and critical thinking skills, with the ability to articulate and present points of view and ideas effectively
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
* Fluency in English, German is a plus
