Responsibilities:
* Support senior sales directors with the institutional sales process
* Handle outbound and inbound communications for both existing institutional clients and prospects, including cold calls
* Coordinate business development meetings as well as follow ups with both prospective and existing clients.
* Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
* Prepare and maintain sales materials (presentations, pitch books) to support sales activities
* Maintain CRM system with up to date client data, as well as prospect information
* Perform market research to generate leads and target new prospects
* Develop strong understanding of the firm's products and services
* Work with the RFP team to respond to queries from clients and prospects
Qualifications:
* Undergraduate degree (Minimum 2.1 or equivalent)
* Further industry qualification/postgraduate study preferred (such as the CFA)
* Outgoing and sociable personality
* Experience in business development (including cold calling and relationship building)
* Experience of presenting to prospects, consultants, clients or colleagues
* Proactive, motivated and professional
* Knowledge of finance/investment/asset management
* Able to discuss financial topics (industry themes, asset classes) with clients and prospects
* Salesforce or other sales CRM experience desirable
* Fluent in both English and German
