We’re looking for a motivated and self-organized Finance Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and will be responsible for overseeing the monthly accounting close and processes in Europe, including the supervision and development of the Accountant role. Role Overview Accounting & Financial Oversight Coordinate and manage the monthly close calendar and deliverables Oversee, including policy creation, review, and compliance with regulations Ensure accurate and timely recording of accounting entries Supervise quarterly and annual account reconciliations Monitor financial operations (AP, AR, GL, banks, etc.) Manage intercompany transactions and settlement processes Support cash flow forecasting Drive continuous improvement projects within the accounting function Assist the Finance Director (FD) Europe in financial decision-making Compliance & Process Standardization Document and standardize accounting-related processes across Europe Ensure compliance with accounting policies and tax/financial reporting standards Develop, monitor, and improve all end-to-end finance and accounting processes Implement and utilize internal controls Leadership & Team Development Provide leadership, coaching, and career development for accountants Reporting & Audits Support the Europe Finance Director & Group Reporting Manager with audits, ensuring accurate balance sheet positions and corrective actions Systems & Process Improvements Act as the primary contact for the CMIC ERP team and coordinate technical improvements Execute changes to policies, procedures, and systems to support business expansion and compliance Role Requirements Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Language: Fluency in German and English (written and spoken)\ Work Experience: 5 years of experience in accounting, experience working in multinational environments (a plus) Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in accounting software and Excel, familiarity with statutory compliance laws Workstyle: Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and work independently or as part of a team, a strong work ethic and a "can-do" attitude, ability to identify and resolve issues proactively, professionalism, energy to continuously strive for improvement, and a pleasant demeanor What We Offer Thrive in a dynamic, international environment with a flat hierarchy that fosters both personal and professional growth Receive a permanent contract with a competitive salary package Access a yearly development budget of up to 4250 EUR after your first year to invest in your personal and professional growth Receive dedicated support for your well-being through our Employee Assistance Program Benefit from contributory support towards your gym membership, transportation costs, additional health budget, and company pension scheme.
