Job Description
Join our team and you’ll be responsible for creating a unified, strategic overview of all software assets withing the organisation ensuring compliance, optimising usage, and cost management.
Working within the Corporate IT team, you will collaborate closely with procurement, legal and finance teams, to standardise license management practises and implement processes to optimize software asset usage. This role can be based in London, Düsseldorf or Berlin.
You will play a vital role as we reimagine the labour market to make it work for everybody.
Your responsibilities
1. Developing and executing strategies to consolidate software licence data from multiple teams and regions to create a global view
2. Implementing process and tools to monitor software licence usage across the org, identify opportunities for optimisation and cost reduction
3. Ensuring that the company is compliant with all software licence agreements and lead internal and external audits to assess compliance and risk
4. Provide regular reports to senior management on licence usage, compliance status, cost optimisation opportunities and potential risks
5. Recommending and implementing Software Asset Management tools that help in the automation of licence tracking, compliance monitoring and optimisation
Qualifications
6. 5 years’ experience in Software Asset Management, with a focus on managing software licences and strong understanding of software licence agreement, licence types, and compliance requirements
7. Strong analytical skills, and the ability to analyse software usage data to derive decisions about licence optimisation and cost management
8. Experience of relationship management and negotiations with software vendors
9. Experience of Software Asset Management tools and how they integrate with broader IT systems
10. Relevant certifications would be advantageous: ITIL, Microsoft Certified: SAM, Certified Software Asset Management
