As a Team Leader for Workday and HR IT projects, you will lead a dynamic team dedicated to shaping holistic people management. By leveraging Workday, you will drive value for our leaders, employees, and the company. In this leadership role, you will oversee the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, fostering collaboration across business units while ensuring team success and effective system use.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a team responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of projects related to Workday, acting as a central link between business interfaces and internal teams.
* Provide strategic guidance in project planning and controlling, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
* Advise and support internal stakeholders on project scoping, ensuring business needs are translated into actionable technical solutions.
* Drive continuous improvement by analysing project inefficiencies, identifying opportunities for automation, and implementing process enhancements.
* Manage external implementation partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery of Workday projects.
* Facilitate business requirement analysis and translate them into technical specifications for successful system configuration and upgrades.
* Promote the ongoing development and optimization of the Workday platform, introducing new functionalities to maximize efficiency and compliance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to legal and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
* 3–5 years of experience in a leadership or project management role, particularly within IT/software projects.
* Proven expertise in implementing and configuring Workday HCM systems.
* Strong ability to lead, inspire, and coordinate teams while collaborating with various business units to achieve shared goals.
* Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and an analytical mindset for addressing complex technical challenges.
* Structured, organized working style with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels and deliver user training when needed.
* Certification in Workday HCM and related modules is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in both German and English.
