Evonik is a major producer of C4 chemicals with over 50 years of experience. The C4 chemicals business was spun off in 2023 as Evonik Oxeno GmbH & Co. KG and is currently preparing for its independent positioning.
We produce, among other things, precursors for plastics, coatings, lubricants and specialty chemicals at our plants in Marl and Antwerp, where we place a high value on and the use of new technologies.

Tasks:
1. Review the process engineering operations of an existing pilot plant.
2. Implement a control system (e.g., SCADA) for the plant in collaboration with our experts.
3. Commission the synthesis plant and conduct initial pilot trials.
4. Carefully document your results and present them clearly.
5. Participate in innovation projects.
Profile:
6. You are currently pursuing a master's degree in process engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, technical chemistry, or a related field.
7. You have completed your bachelor's degree with excellent grades.
8. You possess strong knowledge in process engineering, plant construction, and control technology.
9. You have strong analytical skills and can independently learn the setup and control of a plant.
10. You work independently and goal-oriented, with good time and self-management skills.
11. You enjoy working in a team, have excellent communication skills, and are experienced with MS Office.
12. You have fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
