ManTech is seeking a skilled, professional and service-oriented Transportation Manager II to join our vehicle sustainment team. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever Sanitization (ACAS) program The Transportation Manager II is responsible for overseeing and managing the transportation operations within an organization. This role involves planning, coordinating, and optimizing the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. The Transportation Manager II reports directly to Logistics Manager and provides guidance, supervision, and mentoring to Transportation Specialists within the Movement Control ACAS capability. This position supports ACAS Coordination Cell (ACC) activities, TOR Tasks and SubTasks as indicated in support of ACAS execution as part of the ACC Movement Control capability area, and will support ACAS activities from the assigned work location of Waldmohr, Germany. Important Note : Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - They are also responsible for managing transportation staff, maintaining compliance with regulations, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - They plan, organize, and supervise the preparation and execution of the movement and distribution operations. - The coordinate deployment and distribution actions with multi-national, Joint, Army, and commercial agencies through the Joint Logistics Enterprise. - They functions as technical expert and monitors personnel who receive, evaluate and process customer requisitions and/or reports for assigned programs, equipment, and systems. Coordinates logistical movements to support CSR activities. - Coordinates with stakeholders to facilitate movement and access to CSR work sites. Facilitates the creation, review, and submission of required CSR pre-work documentation. - Facilitates the documentation of all equipment moved, received, and processed. Proactively supports the ACAS Safety Plan. Required Qualifications : - BA/BS degree (Permitted experience exchange: High School and 6 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree) - 5 years (Permitted education exchange: A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education.) - Valid Drivers License Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Transportation Management, Supply Chain Management or related field - Experience with military transportation systems and familiarity with governing regulations and polices. Certification in transportation management or supply chain management. - Proficiency using transportation management systems such as TMS software. Certification, training, experience with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management; ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management; and ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management System. - Training and Experience as a Military Logistics as a Movement Controller or Road Master. Training and experience with scheduling and dispatching of trucks, trains, aircraft, and other delivery mechanisms at a CONUS or international logistics / retail company. Clearance Requirements: - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Physical Requirements: - Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel. - Must be able to push, pull, and reach. - Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
