ManTech is seeking a skilled, professional and service-oriented Inspection Manager III to join our vehicle sustainment team. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever Sanitization (ACAS) program. The Inspection Manager III is responsible for overseeing and managing all post-AGWASH and/or ASF inspection activities to ensure that products, processes, and systems comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves leading a team of inspectors, developing inspection protocols, and collaborating with other departments to maintain and improve quality inspections. Important Note : Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. If accepted, then you will be subjected to paying German taxes, obtaining German Healthcare, and working within the guidelines of the German labor system. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - They ensure RST Inspectors are trained in current processes and procedures to ensure complete compliance with AGWASH/ASF requirements. - They closely manage the Inspector team to ensure complete coverage. Supports the ACC in planning activities to determine all inspection requirements for each ACAS project and forecast Inspector allocation. - Manages the ingestion of Inspection lessons learned into the ACAS knowledge base. Leads analysis methods to optimize processes to achieve first-pass inspection rates. - Proactively supports the ACAS Safety Plan. The Inspection Manager III reports directly to the Logistics Manager as part of the Production Control capability and provides technical direction and mentoring to RST supporting Inspector II and Inspector III staff. - This position supports ACAS Coordination Cell (ACC) activities, TOR Tasks and SubTasks as indicated in support of ACAS execution as part of the ACC Production Control capability area, and will support ACAS activities from the assigned work location of Waldmohr, Germany. Required Qualifications : - BA/BS degree (Permitted experience exchange: High School and 6 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree) - 9 years of experience (Permitted education exchange: A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education.) - 5 years of position relevant experience - Experienced in technical inspections of equipment for the absence of pests and transmittable pathogens. - Experience in managing distributed staffs and multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools - Valid Drivers License Desired Qualifications: - BS in Environmental or Production (Manufacturing) Engineering or a related discipline. Familiarity with Army AGWASH/ASF procedures, processes, regulations, and procedures. - Training and Experience as a Military / Contractor Vehicle / Heavy Equipment ACAS Quality Inspector. Training and experience with inspecting, cleaning and disinfecting farm equipment and other agricultural items to sustain the life/readiness of vehicles, heavy equipment, cargo and containers and prevent the spread of bacteria, disease, and cross-contamination. Certification, Training, - Experience or familiarity with: ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management; ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management; ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety; ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management; ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management; ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management; and ISO 14064:2018 Quantification and Reporting of Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Removals. Clearance Requirements: - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Physical Requirements: - Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel. - Must be able to push, pull, and reach. - Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard for long periods of time.
