We are a growing hi-tech digital company with a team of 70 colleagues, headquartered in Oberhaching, close to Munich, with additional locations in The Netherlands, USA, Denmark and the UK, plus colleagues in France and Japan. We are a mix of technical and business professionals. EnOcean has acquired two companies in the last two years, and expects to acquire and integrate additional international companies in the next few years.

The Role & You
As the leader of the HR team, you will play a critical role in shaping our company culture, driving change management, and ensuring that our HR function supports EnOcean’s growth. The administrative aspects of HR (such as payroll and insurance) are managed by an HR specialist within your team. You will also oversee two part-time colleagues who manage our front desk.
You are a strategic yet hands-on HR leader with at least 10 years of experience, who balances empathy, structure, and communication to create clarity and drive engagement. You will be a key partner to leadership, fostering a cohesive and inclusive culture across our international offices and integrating newly acquired companies seamlessly into EnOcean. A background in digital technologies or experience in a tech-driven company would be advantageous.
This position requires you to work from our Oberhaching office at least three days per week (maximum two days home office) and travel occasionally to other locations. You will report to the CEO of EnOcean.
What you’ll be doing
The HR Manager shapes and executes the human resources strategy for EnOcean globally.
* Drive HR strategies aligning with company goals and provide strategic counsel to executive leadership and other HR team members.
* Develop and execute a global HR operations strategy aligned with organizational goals, providing regular reporting on operational metrics for continuous improvement.
* Implement standardized procedures and technology solutions to improve the delivery of HR services.
* Enhance employee experience with user-friendly self-service capabilities, fostering a customer-centric approach.
* Develop, monitor, and utilize HR metrics and analytics, for effective decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Oversee talent acquisition, retention strategies and engagement initiatives for a motivated workforce.
* Manage competitive compensation and benefits programs while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
* Develop and maintain everything HR related (policies and procedures) to comply with local regulations.
* Support global DEI initiatives to promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
* In addition, you will ensure that all occupational safety measures are observed and implemented, and that your employees are instructed accordingly.

What we’re looking for
* Strong leadership experience in HR.
* A university degree in business administration, psychology, economics or similar.
* Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals and HR Transformation.
* Strong understanding of international HR practices and employment laws.
* Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
* Demonstrable experience in defining and implementing high-impact people strategies and programs across all parts of the employee lifecycle.
* Experience in setting up, adapting and improving HR policies globally.
* Strategic thinker who can turn HR strategies into actionable plans and is hands-on when needed.
* Proven proficiency in using data and analytics to drive evidence-based HR strategies and decision-making.
* Business fluent in German and English.
