Responsibilities
for this role:
1. Responsible for managing and originating institutional client and prospect relationships in Germany
2. Delivering the full capabilities of M&G as an investment manager partner to key client targets in these markets with a specific focus to private assets
3. Proactively contributing to M&G Germany's institutional strategy
4. Ensure that team processes and procedures are adhered to
5. Develop internal relationships with product and fund management teams, understanding their focus areas and helping bring these to market in the region
6. Develop deep knowledge of M&G's relevant funds, strategies and solutions and how to position these with relevant target clients
7. To work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls you are responsible for to support improvement of the overall control environment, customers oues and a reduction in M&G's operational risk.
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
8. Strong team player and consensus builder who balances high levels of individual drive and motivation with a desire to work
9. Exposure to a multi-asset class investment environment: fixed ie, equity, real estate debt and equity, infrastructure, PE and private debt, deep private markets knowledge is essential
10. Strong technical skills; portfolio management and/or investment consulting experience would be a useful addition, but is not essential.
11. Deep understanding of and experience with the local German regulations for different types of institutional investors and their needs
12. A proven track record in institutional sales: Ability in managing clients and winning new business
13. Results-oriented and focused on aplishments rather than activity
14. Strongmunication skills: native German and fluent English
15. Organised and methodical approach to tasks
16. Ability to manage and control multiple priorities andpeting deadlines
17. Degree educated. Investment management qualification and/or the CFA/CAIA designation will be considered a plus.
