To strengthen our team in the area of the Global Leaf Function at the Trier plant, we are looking for a Data & Finance Manager – Global Leaf Function (m/f/d) in permanent employment.
Your job mission:
You will play a crucial role in evaluating and/or notifying results of all laboratory analyses generated through the various Agrochemical (CPA) testing programs, which trigger purchase and usage decisions. This position is also responsible for preparing, managing and controlling the budgets related to these programs, ensuring compliance with JTI’s financial requirements.

Your tasks:
* Managing Agrochemical (Crop Protection Agent = CPA) residue analysis results provided by the testing laboratories including follow-up from sample preparation to result provision
* Communicating with relevant external and internal stakeholders, including tobacco suppliers, testing laboratories, and JTI departments responsible for tobacco production, purchases, quality, and logistics
* Administering the financial aspects related to CPA residue testing programs, ensuring costs align with MEMO approval and other JTI financial requirements
* Controlling data consistency and evaluating analytical results from laboratory analysis reports as well as assessing compliance against JTI’s CPA residues standard for the final purchase of tobacco lots
* Providing backup or directly managing all related aspects to ensure the proper execution of the residue testing programs with relevant external and internal stakeholders for strategic business continuity
Your profile:
* Relevant educational background: University degree in Business Administration and Management, or similar
* Practical experience: Solid business experience in international companies, exposure to Supply Chain Management would be advantageous
* Valuable knowledge: Excellent knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel as well as SQL databases
* Special strengths: Experience with SAP
* Suitable personality: Outstanding communication & analytical skills
* Practiced working time model: flexitime
