The new team member will join a highly interactive, supportive, and interdisciplinarygroup of faculty, staff scientists, postdoctoral fellows, and students and enjoy access to state-of-the-art computing environment at the BIH. What you can expect: The new team member will play an important role in advancing the mission of the Robinson lab,which focuses on developing algorithms, ontologies, and software to advance research and supportmedical practice. The lab develops a wide range of software for translational bioinformatics. Therole of the new team member will be to develop and validate algorithms and to create robustsoftware. Additionally, the team member will participate in a collaborative environment with theNIH-supported Monarch Initiative, a group co-led by Peter Robinson that develops many widelyused ontologies such as the Human Phenotype Ontology as well as algorithms for translationalbioinformatics.
