The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Technical Sales Specialist (m/f/*) in the Netherlands for abrasive materials, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
1. Balancing the maintenance and expansion of current customers and the development of sales to new customers in the Netherlands
2. Developing and implementing strategies and tactics for business retention and profitable growth
3. Identifying individual 3M Material solutions for an application and providing data and information at the customer level
4. Demonstrating and training customers on product applications
5. Reporting all new or unusual pertinent market conditions, competitive activities, and product performance information to supervisor and business manager
6. Collaborating with fellow sales account managers for accounts where pull through selling is required
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
7. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
8. Profund sales experience in a technical environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
9. Ability to engage and sell to decision makers, including executives, purchasing, engineering, and manufacturing operations
10. Experience in technical support and troubleshooting activities with customers
11. Advanced experience using Salesforce and other software for sales support
12. Ability to understand and communicate complex technical information
Additional Information:
13. Travel: May include up to 80% domestic travel (Drivers license required)
14. Sales territory : Netherlands
