What does an Embedded QA Tester at CIG do?
* Support EU Level Design team by improving existing testing procedures and identifying requirements.
* Verify game features, systems, and tools daily and provide feedback for the team.
* Create, execute and maintain test cases on assigned projects as well as ad-hoc testing on focused areas.
* Act as first contact for QA support for features created by the EU Level Design team globally.
* Act as liaison between EU Level Design team and Locations teams.
* Compose regular progress updates and reports for leadership.
* Execute and maintain automated tests created by our QA Automation team.
What do we expect from our Embedded QA Testers?
* Demonstrable game production experience with advanced skills in identifying and isolating issues systemically to help with resolving problems quicker.
* Experience with writing test cases and ownership of feature areas as well as a good knowledge of bug tracking tools, such as Jira.
* Ability to stay organized and motivated to meet specific deadlines.
* Ability to effectively manage your time and task prioritization.
* Thrive in a fast-paced, always-changing work environment where adaptability is paramount.
* Knowledge / usage of a game engine to be able to investigate and understand complex engine issues.
* Ability to connect effectively with your cross-disciplined team and other departments through great communication skills.
* Ability to maintain testing documentation.
* Innovative approach to problem solving, with the highest attention to detail.
