Job Description
A new permanent part-time position has just come available, for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join the Financial Department to support the Finance department in a 5 - Star Hotel. Reporting directly to the Hotel Accountant, this position plays a pivotal role in the businesses daily operations.
The company is Ireland’s original 5 - Star Hotel and is based in the heart of Kenmare.
This is a 3 day week part-time role based fully onsite.

Role of this position
* Compile and maintain daily sales figures.
* Manage both Debtors and Creditors ledgers.
* Assist in preparing the Audit Pack and provide necessary ad hoc reporting.
* Maintain the Gift Voucher Control Account.
* Conduct day-to-day banking activities as required.
* Provide support to the accountant on various ad hoc projects.
* Fulfill general administration duties alongside other ongoing assigned tasks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* You will have experience working in a similar Accounts Assistant role
* You will hold an Accounting Technician certification or actively be pursing one
* Experience in Hotsoft, SAGE, MicroPay, Auto entry & ProcureWizard is an advantage
* You will have excellent communication skills
