Your new job includes
As a Sales Planner (m/f/d), you are an important interface between the Sales department and the Supply Chain Management, Category Management & Purchasing departments.
In particular, you will
* obtain forecast quantities for existing and new customers and ensure general inventory management and inventory transparency for the locations and customers
* optimise the planning and recording of surplus and shortfall requirements as well as customer and location-specific influencing factors
* create and validate rolling customer and location forecasts and develop efficient customer/location ordering behaviour for the distribution of scarce stock (allocation)
* be the central contact person in the department for forecasting in procurement and liaise with downstream specialist departments
* analyse sales volumes and derive measures to increase the service level
* contribute to the further development of inbound and outbound processes as well as internal sales training courses
Preferred Profile
* A degree in business administration or equivalent training
* At least 3 years of professional experience in sales or another commercial field related to planning and merchandise management
* Strong analytical understanding and enjoy working with numbers
* Great interest in interface work and an affinity for process optimization
* Very good knowledge of German and English, other language skills are a plus
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and some previous knowledge of SAP
* An independent, structured, proactive and results-orientated way of working
