Join us and contribute your skills and expertise as a Data Protection Coordinator. (The Data Protection Coordinator (m/f/d) will support the external Data Protection Officer (DPO) in managing data protection and privacy activities across the organization. This role involves ensuring that all data processing activities comply with GDPR and other relevant data protection laws, promoting a culture of data protection, and supporting the implementation of data privacy strategies.
GDPR Compliance:
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data protection policies and procedures
Monitor and audit data processing activities to ensure compliance with GDPR
Maintain records of data processing activities (RoPA) and ensure they are up to date
Support the external DPO in conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
Support the external DPO in running the Data Protection Management System
Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on GDPR requirements and data protection best practices
Promote a culture of data protection and privacy awareness within the organization
Incident Management:
Assist in the identification, investigation, and reporting of data breaches in compliance with GDPR requirements
Support the development and implementation of corrective actions to address data protection incidents
Data Subject Rights:
Manage and respond to data subject access requests (DSARs) and other requests related to data subjects' rights
Collaboration and Support:
Collaborate with various departments to ensure GDPR compliance in all business processes
Provide guidance and support to teams on data protection matters and privacy implications of new projects or initiatives
Work closely with IT and security teams to ensure appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place for data protection
Master or Bachelor’s degree in law, Information Security, IT, or a related field
Professional certification in data protection (e.g., Minimum of 3 years of experience in data- protection, privacy, or a related compliance role
In-depth knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection laws and regulations
Proficiency in using data protection management tools and software is a plus
You are fluent in german and english
