Job Purpose:
Responsibility for the global strategic marketing management of the parenteral nutrition (PN) pediatric portfolio with the objective to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics in the pediatric parenteral nutrition space to create high-impact strategies that drive market share and revenue growth.
The Senior Manager Strategic Marketing contributes significantly to the creation and execution of our growth strategy as well as to the achievement of our short- and long-term sales targets of the Business Unit Nutrition.
Your assignments
Strategic Planning and Market Development:
1. Lead the development of the global strategic marketing plan for the pediatric parenteral nutrition portfolio.
2. Conduct market assessments and drive continuous search and understand needs, trends, and product performance in close collaboration with all relevant Fresenius Kabi departments to identify opportunities for growth, unmet clinical needs, and potential risks in the pediatric nutrition landscape.
3. Drive product positioning and value proposition strategies that resonate with healthcare providers, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and caregivers.
4. Perform market and competitor analysis and define success factors to grow the product group worldwide.
5. Develop the cross-functional strategic category plan for the PN portfolio and the product ranges in charge.
Stakeholder Engagement and Cross-functional Collaboration:
6. Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to support product advocacy and brand loyalty.
7. Lead internal cross-functional teams including regulatory, legal, R&D, and supply chain to drive strategic initiatives and overcome barriers to product success.
8. Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment of local market strategies with global objectives.
9. Training of product managers and colleagues working in PN
10. Initiate and manage project groups, be an active member in advisory boards.
11. Provide presentations & participate in international Product Manager meetings and workshops.
Commercialization and Product Launch:
12. Support and accompany new pediatric product developments and provide marketing-related project support.
13. Define the global launch strategy, prepare global launch plans and toolkits for new products. Apply tracking and implement lessons learned.
14. Develop go-to-market strategies including pricing, promotion, and distribution models that align with market needs and company goals.
15. Partner with regions / countries to provide sales tools, training, and marketing materials to support the effective promotion of the PN portfolio.
16. Lead of the medical nutrition platform in the therapeutic areas of pediatrics
17. Apply and manage the full marketing mix for the products and product groups
18. Prepare product and concept presentations for congresses.
Financial and Performance Management:
19. Initialize purchase orders, perform budget planning and tracking as well as quantitative global strategic planning.
20. Set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing programs and product performance in the market.
Your profile
21. You hold a Master degree in pharmacy or natural sciences
22. You have at least 7 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry or pharmaceutical software consulting
23. You have gained relevant experience in the field of paediatrics
24. Local experience in Marketing and/or Clinical Nutrition preferred
25. Experience in working in a global environment preferred
26. You bring profound expertise in defining marketing strategies, developing marketing plans and communication concepts, implementing communication and marketing measures as well as managing digital marketing projects
27. Experience in working with multinational and virtual management teams
28. You have excellent communication skills to moderate and lead discussion on marketing topics with peers and senior management
29. You have strong presentation skills as well as a creative and out-of-the-box mind set
30. You have the ability to work flexibly and independently as well as in cross-functional teams
31. You have good problem-solving skills
32. You are fluent in the English language (written & spoken)
