Head of Accounting (all genders)
Your area of responsibility:
* Ensuring and developing a fully functional accounting and financial function in line with our growth strategy, including developing processes, systems, automation, reporting tools, internal control and organization.
* Responsibility for accounting local statutory reporting requirements, budgeting, compliance with taxes / VAT, reporting to the headquarters in China and coordinating and ensuring efficient local audits based on the Group's internal timeline.
* Supporting local management and the headquarters in all areas of reporting on business activities in subsidiary company including transactions, acquisitions, business cases, etc.
* Supporting employees and managers in questions about finance, accounting, reporting, taxes and VAT.
* The continuous development and optimization of internal control procedures and business processes.
* The pro-active departmental and cross-functional collaboration with business partners, external financial service providers, including accountants, banks, insurers and other partners ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines and major updates.

That distinguishes you:
* University degree / MSc in finance, economics, business administration, accounting or similar.
* Experienced financial manager with at least seven years of professional experience.
* Familiar with both local and group reporting (especially IFRS).
* Experience in working with most or all of corporate accounting, reporting, tax and compliance processes, with a particular passion for financial reporting.
* We expect experience with Microsoft 365, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
* Proficiency in financial software and tools.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
* Experience in the B2C industry is preferred.
* Business fluent in German and Chinese.
