If this sounds compelling, join eBay About the Team The German Seller Engagement team is responsible for engaging with the B2C seller community of eBay Germany (ebay.de). This includes sellers of all size: from very small (micro) businesses to SMBs (small and medium businesses), manufacturer/brands to large retail organizations. Typical engagement levers are social media channels, seller programs/initiatives (typically consulting initiatives), Podcasts, and seller events – to name just a few. The Seller Engagement team is also “the voice of the B2C customer” within the German and broader organization. As such, the team influences e.g. the product (UEX) roadmap, works close with global teams such as Risk, Trust, Regulations, and supports the roll-out of new functionality. We are currently recruiting for our Seller Engagement team in Berlin / Dreilinden a Senior Seller Engagement Manager (m/f/d). Responsibilities The Senior Seller Engagement Manager (m/f/d) will work closely with various global departments. In particular, with our Regulatory team to ensure that regulatory requirements for us as a marketplace and for our sellers involved in trading are implemented in the best possible way. In addition, the person will work closely with our Risk, Trust and Product teams to ensure the best possible seller experience for our sellers. This includes influencing product development at the earliest possible stage, through to the successful roll-out of new features and corresponding seller adoption. What you will accomplish: Manage an ever-changing portfolio of highly complex regulatory solutions, from their inception to transition to go to market and steady-state Analysis and optimization of existing policies and processes for commercial sellers on our marketplace, in close coordination with corresponding (global) departments. Using data, customer and market insight to advise customer-centric solution design and optimise impact/ performance Internal subject matter expert for all topics of responsibility, keeping sellers and internal stakeholders up to date with all relevant changes as well. This includes content creation and training of customer-facing employees Management of vendors who support us in the regulatory environment.
