You will spearhead the integration and advancement of cutting-edge technologies within the supply chain framework. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, sustainability, and competitive advantage through technological innovation. They operate within the strategic boundaries set by the CPC goals and MGSM, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Your tasks:
* Developing concepts and strategies for innovations for the entire JTI, planning and deploy projects, coordinating implementation, supporting installations, and leading project start-ups
* Leading the identification, evaluation, and implementation of emerging technologies that can transform supply chain operations and enhance consumer experience
* Collaborating within GSC and CPC to align technology initiatives with the company’s strategic goals, ensuring that technological advancements support business growth and operational efficiency
* Driving initiatives that enhance the sustainability and efficiency of the supply chain, reducing costs, improving speed, and minimizing environmental impact
* Working with research institutes and industry associations to identify and assess technology vendors, develop use cases, and create deployment strategies for cross-functional stakeholders
* Identifying potential risks associated with new technologies and developing strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
* Owning at least one of IWS IM standard work processes (SWP), regularly monitoring IM Phase progress and adherence in factories as well as collaborating within the Global IM team to deploy IM in GSC and other functions such as GI&I and R&D
Your profile:
* Relevant educational background: University degree in Engineering or similar, PhD in STEM is a plus
* Practical experience: Very solid management experience in engineering, manufacturing, research and development or other relevant functions, including the sphere of innovations from concept to product launch and post-launch support
* Valuable knowledge: Superb Project Management skills, including Agile Methodologies
* Special strengths: IWS experience as well as patent submission experience
* Suitable personality: Outstanding communication & analytical skills
* Practiced working time model: flexitime
