Our Assistant Store Managers are integral to the success of our stores. As an Assistant Manager, it’s your job to partner closely with the Store Manager to develop team members, provide the best customer service possible, and communicate our company’s values, vision, and mission. As an Assistant Store Manager, you know how to effectively navigate a complex business to satisfy customers and develop team members while working under the pressure of competing business priorities. Recognizing the integral role of community within the HOKA Brand, you prioritize fostering connections both within and beyond the store's physical space. Through engaging interactions with our knowledgeable HOKA Experts, innovative local initiatives, and active participation in Brand events, you extend invitations to customers to become part of the vibrant HOKA community. Your awareness of industry trends and local market dynamics enables proactive collaboration with Store and District Managers to meet and exceed customer expectations. Your Impact • Coach and develop your team to drive business results and professional growth • Ensure the highest level of customer service possible and prioritize brand and product knowledge training • Meet and exceed budgeted sales and KPIs • Develop store strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, increase traffic, and optimize profitability • Proactively and continuously cultivate community through events, local outreach, and engagement with your market beyond the store's four walls • Onboard and train team members to ensure engaged and high-performing teams • Ensure the highest level of visual merchandising and standards and take responsibility for execution of visual directives and guidelines • Drive key initiatives and support programs that enhance the customer journey • Manage inventory and implement store administration and operations including compliance with policies and procedures • Hire the best team members by identifying talent quickly and regularly maintaining a network for recruiting candidates • Ensure seamless store operations by implementing and upholding policies and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance and efficiency. The Assistant Manager of Sales and Service fulfills the Associate Manager role, with a focus on: • Actively focuses on the HOKA loyalty programs including SafeSize and HOKA membership to exceed company expectations, while encouraging participation and tracking results. • Promotes a high-level consumer experience in store where employees communicate and educate customers on product and the HOKA Expert program. • Tracks redemptions, retention and key indicator results to drive traffic/clients into the store location. • Empowering the sales team with sales goals, product knowledge, and effective selling strategies aligned with the HOKA Expert program. Who You Are • Excellent leadership skills and experience managing people in a customer-facing environment • You embrace digital proficiency and evolving technology demands, harnessing their potential to enhance operational efficiency and engage with customers in innovative ways. • You can demonstrate a track record of exceeding sales targets and cost management for a store of comparable volume and size • Excellent organizational skills and ability to coordinate people, resources, and services to address business goals and needs • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a knack for effectively tackling challenges that may arise. • Agility to adapt and respond to the evolving needs of the business, extending beyond the store's physical boundaries.
