Your mission
Rethinking methanol: efficient, green, revolutionary.
With our innovative process based on homogeneous catalysis, we are rethinking methanol: efficient, green and forward-looking.
Be there when we set the next milestone - on the way to the industrial production of green methanol:
Green methanol starts here - with you, if
* You want to help shaping processes, creatively solve technical challenges and make a real impact?
* You want to use your technical skills for electrotechnical tasks - from laying cables to replacing components?
* You dream of setting up and running a workshop independently?
* You find it exciting to maintain research facilities and repair small components - and always learn something new in the process?
* You enjoy metalwork, e.g. tube bending or machining activities?
* You want to work in an environment that relies on reliability and precision - e.g. when adhering to maintenance schedules and quality standards?
* You are looking to work on an equal footing with chemists, engineers and technicians in interdisciplinary teams?
* You like to work responsibly and safety-consciously, especially in accordance with the relevant occupational health and safety and environmental standards?
* You don't just want to work on machines, but also want to understand and help shape the underlying processes?
Then we look forward to meeting you!
Your profile
You have ...
* training as a mechatronics technician, process engineer, chemical technician, industrial mechanic or B. Eng. Process engineer with a hands-on mentality
* Experience in the maintenance and repair of chemical production plants
* Practice in working with pumps, valves and piping systems
* Basic knowledge of measurement, control and regulation technology
* Working with pressure, temperature and flow sensors
* Know-how in metal working (e.g. pipe bending, machining activities)
* Ideally electrical switching authorization or relevant practical experience in electrical engineering
Nice to have (not a must, but a plus):
* Experience with PLC controls (e.g. Siemens S7 / TIA Portal)
* Knowledge of handling toxic and explosive gases
* Experience in tube bending incl. reading isometrics (1/8“ - 3/4”)
* Know-how in Swagelok systems or similar (Hylok, Fitok)
* Practical experience with research setups or in a laboratory environment

About us
Re-inventing chemistry
We develop disruptive chemical production processes by rethinking them from the atomic level all the way up to production scale.
We explore new chemistries by employing quantum-chemical simulations and transfer them into proprietary production technology.
Designing green processes
We develop & scale our new technologies based on renewable feedstocks & energy. From the very first steps in the development of a production process, we design it to enable closed carbon loops. Without compromise.
Defossilizing industries
With our climate-friendly chemical technologies we support industries in their net zero journey. Our first disruption is the proprietary C1 methanol technology. It unlocks green methanol production by overcoming long-standing challenges.
