Responsibilities Workforce planning and personnel management for a defined area of responsibility Communication with the crew on training requirements, certification and career succession planning Contract management and handling of new hires, promotions, and exits, as well as conducting the necessary communication with the maritime works council Conducting job interviews and personnel discussions Drafting certificates and reference letters Responsibility for securing funding for ships under the German flag (LNK, Schiftung Schifffahrtstandort Deutschland) Preparing personnel statistics General data maintenance in the crewing software, including contributing to its continuous improvement Qualifications You have either sailing experience as a Nautical or Technical Officer of the Watch, Chief Mate, or Second Technical Officer, or you have successfully completed commercial training; preferably with experience in crewing You are eager to quickly familiarize yourself with the workflows in the Marine Human Resources department You consistently handle confidential personal data with a high level of reliability You are motivated to go beyond daily tasks and actively contribute to the continuous development and improvement of our services Working independently and autonomously in an international environment comes naturally to you You have demonstrated your organizational skills in a professional setting and consistently act responsibly towards your team
