The Trim Merchandiser will be responsible for the development, sourcing, and inventory of all trims used in our collections. This role ensures that packaging, labeling and trims align with the design vision, production timelines, and quality standards, contributing to the overall success of the product. The ideal candidate will have strong supplier management skills, an eye for detail and fashion, with a great ability to collaborate cross functions.
Your responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with designers, production teams, and factories to ensure clear communication and timely delivery of trims.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with global PackLab and trim suppliers, negotiating pricing, lead times, and quality standards.
• Source sustainable and eco-friendly trim options in line with the company’s sustainability objectives.
• Address and resolve issues related to quality, availability, or production delays, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Report directly to the PackLab & Trim Merchandise Manager.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in garment trims, packaging, and labeling, identifying innovative products that align with the brand’s aesthetic.
What you bring
• Strong understanding of packaging, labeling, trims, and accessories.
• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—along with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Proven problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to encourage these qualities in others.
• Highly organized with attention to detail, effective time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks and ensure their execution.
• Adaptable, with the capability to manage and respond to change in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in textiles, preferably in trims/accessories sourcing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Product Development, or a related field.
• Fluent in English, with proficiency in another language preferred.
• Proficient in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems and Excel.
• Preferably 3-5 years of managerial experience.
