Technical Product Owner – Fulfillment Systems
Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and driven Technical Product Owner to manage and enhance fulfillment systems within a fast-paced and dynamic organization. This role is integral to ensuring the seamless operation of critical applications across the fulfillment process, from warehouse management to customer service. Acting as a bridge between business departments and IT, you’ll align application functionalities with business needs, collaborate with software vendors, and oversee system integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Application Ownership: Manage and maintain applications critical to the fulfillment process, ensuring they meet organizational needs and resolve operational challenges.
* Requirements Alignment: Work with business teams to ensure application requirements align with business goals.
* Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with software vendors to implement and enhance application features.
* Integration Management: Partner with IT teams to establish and maintain interfaces between fulfillment applications and other systems.
* Problem Solving: Proactively address and resolve application issues to ensure smooth operations.
* Documentation and Training: Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and provide end-user training when needed.
Qualifications:
* Experience: Several years in IT projects, ideally in an eCommerce environment, with hands-on experience in application maintenance or configuration.
* Technical Skills: Comfortable with software configuration; knowledge of ETL processes, and APIs, and the ability to write REST/SOAP queries for proofs of concept is a plus.
* Logistics Knowledge: Basic understanding of logistics processes.
* Work Ethic: Independent, solution-oriented, and team-focused work style with a track record of managing large software projects.
* Communication Skills: Strong coordination and communication skills, with experience working with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
* Language Proficiency: Fluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal skills.
