Job mission: As an Assistant Manager in Pricing, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Kia EU Pricing team to maximize profit opportunities for the entire Kia model lineup in Europe. Responsibilities include coordinating pricing for new products, defining and tracking pricing targets, and ensuring competitive life-cycle price positioning. Your responsibilities: Contribute to retail pricing strategy for Kia models in Kia EU markets in coordination with the Kia Corporation HQ in Seoul, South Korea. Assist in defining pricing proposals for upcoming models, ensuring marketability and profitability of the projects. Establish, review, and optimize markets’ proposals for new model retail pricing, including stand-alone or option packages, optional features, and price walks between body types and/or powertrains. Support the development of the new Kia EU Product Pricing IT tool. Serve as the main point of contact for markets and market management for pricing-related questions. Support the Sales & Market Management teams to implement adequate transfer pricing (FOB) for the subsidiaries & distributors. Analyze quarterly price positioning for all models in assigned markets, creating an aggregated report for our markets (subsidiaries). Gather pricing intelligence on competitors and identify potential competitive pricing actions. Address Ad-hoc inquiries from Kia Europe and Kia Global Headquarters, covering new model pricing, quarterly price tracking, and other Kia EU pricing-related topics. Continuously improve new model pricing and reporting processes, approaches, and systems. Your talents: University degree in Business, Economics, or Finance. 2-5 years’ pan-European work experience in automotive Pricing and Product Management with an emphasis on analytics. Familiarity with automotive market analysis tools (ie. JATO, Polk’s Road to Data, IHS/ Global Insight Industry forecasts, etc.). Excellent quantitative and analytical skills to support key decisions. Interest in and ability to work with customer research (preparing questionnaires, agencies, etc.). Passion for the Automotive industry incl. light commercial vehicles (LCV). Proficient Microsoft Office skills especially with MS Excel for data analysis including use of macros, pivot tables, data queries, etc. Good interpersonal skills and experience working in a multicultural environment. Familiarity with Asian cultures/companies. Initiative, self-confidence, and resilience. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; other languages are an advantage. Who are we?
