The team, located in Berlin, is focused on further developing the app to include new and innovative features, and on increasing the engagement of existing users and growing the user base through marketing and communication initiatives. ACCOUNTABILITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES The Consultant, reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing of ShareTheMeal, is expected to: Lead the execution, and optimization of high-impact digital performance marketing strategies to support the ShareTheMeal app and website. Develop comprehensive media plans that align with business goals, ensuring strategic allocation of budgets across channels and markets for maximum impact and returns. Regularly analyze data to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and provide insights for optimization. Explore and test new acquisition channels to diversify fundraising efforts and reach new audiences. Utilize data insights and behavioral analysis to identify and engage with different personas, optimizing campaign messaging and creative to increase conversion rates and supporters’ retention. Proven experience in leading performance marketing teams, demonstrating ability to manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals Ability to set clear goals, provide regular feedback, and ensure team alignment with organizational objectives DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT Key campaigns are prepared and executed in a timely manner and to high quality standards Impact of the campaigns is measured and documented; the reports are handed over to the Head of Marketing A portfolio of efficient marketing campaigns that successfully maximize funds from new and existing supporters globally, in line with fundraising targets. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Education Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree is preferred Experience Minimum 4 years of relevant national or international experience in performance Marketing, work experience with non-profit brand management is a strong advantage. Knowledge & Skills Proficiency in using mobile attribution platforms MMPs such as Adjust, AppsFlyer, Kochava to measure and optimize acquisition campaigns performance. Proven hands-on experience setting up, managing, and optimizing marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., Google, Meta, TikTok, Apple search ads) to scale app acquisition. Proven track record managing acquisition campaigns for both app and web platforms. Experience conducting incrementality testing and utilizing media mix modeling (MMM) to optimize marketing strategies. Expertise in web and app attribution and solid understanding of impacts of ad privacy changes. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including brand, content, product, and design. Mature judgment with strong interpersonal skills Collaborative spirit able to liaise with a wide range of people at all levels and across different cultures and to act with credibility and diplomacy. Strong time management skills with an ability to plan, anticipate requirements, problems and obstacles, and an ability to juggle competing priorities successfully, and to work to tight deadlines. Self-motivated and able to work with a high degree of autonomy. Fully committed and motivated to achieve the aims of the World Food Programme.
