The Digital Solutions Team at RWE Generation SE manages and enhances our internal data platform, Business Intelligence, and Low Code/No Code solutions to drive digital transformation. We are expanding our capabilities and seeking a working student skilled in UI/UX to help develop a SharePoint page dedicated to this platform.
About the role
* Data Platform Engagement: Work within the team responsible for our data platform, contributing to its enhancement and usability.
* SharePoint Development: Utilize your UI/UX skills to design and build a SharePoint page that effectively communicates the functionalities and purposes of the data platform.
* Collaboration: Coordinate with team members to gather requirements and translate them into user-friendly SharePoint designs.
* Support and Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the SharePoint page with updated information and improvements based on feedback.
* Documentation: Create clear documentation related to the data platform and SharePoint page development, aiding internal communications.
* Project Support: In addition, other supportive work regarding current IT projects may occur that usually evolve around general organizational tasks, Power Point design and other project support work all related to digitalisation and data topics.
Job requirements and experience
* Currently enrolled in a field of study that corresponds with communication and/ or design (e.g. Communication Design, Human-Computer Interaction, UI/UX Design, Information Architecture etc.).
* Skills and experience in UI/UX design, with an understanding of creating intuitive interfaces.
* Ability to work with SharePoint to build and maintain engaging sites.
* Interested in digital transformation trends and concepts applicable to data platforms.
* Independent and Structured Work: Display a self-driven approach with organizational and conscientious skills.
* Language Proficiency: fluent in Business English.
Advantageous but not essential
* German language skills.
* Prior experience working on digital platforms or similar projects, especially involving SharePoint and UI/UX design.
