To complete our great team, we are looking for a communicative and independently acting National Capital Account Manager (m/f/d) Digital Surgery & Capital Equipment - Germany Location: Candidates can be based anywhere in Germany in full-time (100%) The National Capital Account Manager (d/f/m) manage other Managers, Supervisors, and/or individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management and meaningful career development conversations to regional account managers and reports directly to the Business Unit Director for VELYS Digital Surgery & Capital Equipment. Responsibilities Communicates direction for major Joints accounts including Capital Sales processes and ensures that account strategy is aligned with the Orthopaedic franchise strategy. Is accountable for managing customer account of national importance by involving regional sales teams. Provides direction to sales teams, sales managers, regional account managers, supervisors, and individual contributors acting aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Manages a "funnel" of capital sales opportunities sufficient to ensure that annual quotas are met or exceeded. Submits consistent and timely reporting of sales opportunities, lead follow up and forecasts and other reporting as required. Is accountable for capital allocation, inventory management and consignment management nationally and oversees regional implementation by providing guidance to regional sales managers. Interacts with supply chain to ensure appropriate supply, capital and inventory allocation including management of the funnel of Life (FoL). Ensures close interaction with the local German and regional EMEA supply chain and commercial operation teams to provide appropriate supply, inventory and capital investment to meet or exceed Joints sales targets. Identifies new accounts, prospects, and potential opportunities to increase sales and is accountable for meeting and exceeding sales targets (implant & capital revenues) for the Joints Team in Germany. Works in an integrated way together with Commercial excellence to ensure profitable & capital efficient growth of the platform. Coaches team on best practices in Inventory-, Consignment management, Capital Allocation & Sales, to support customer satisfaction. Provides input and ideas for new product development and software enhancements. Ensures that profitable and capital efficient segmentation and targeting measures are implemented within the entire joints sales team and oversees its implementation. Conducts evaluation of sales and materials related to performance, budget, processes, and overall effectiveness. Responsible for managing operational aspects of their team (e.g. workflow performance and compliance), as well as ensuring achievement of team goals within established timelines and budgets Experience 8 years demonstrated level of achievement in Orthopaedics, Surgical, or Medical Capital Equipment sales. (leasing, renting, etc. of capital equipment) Deep understanding of the financial operations of hospitals in Public and Private sectors Customer Oriented: Demonstrated ability to translate clinical benefits of products to economic value to the health care provider and is comfortable with financial based selling tools Commercial Skills: Demonstrated Executive selling experience background (CEO/CFO/COO/CIO of hospitals) and ability to interact with credibility with surgeons and HCPs Leadership skills: Proven experience in leading sales teams Teamwork and collaboration: Proven track record in connecting people and getting projects off the ground in a matrix structure. Leads by influence. Results oriented & Analytical skills: Excellent business acumen. Integrates Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making. Excellent organizational talent and process orientation Experience in surgical Orthopedics and Capital equipment usage in OR setting highly desirable Experience in OR Navigation and Imaging technologies highly desirable Other Requirements Fluent in both German and English.
