About the role
As the Content & Social Media Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing our organic social media presence and contributing to the development of our global content strategy. You will create compelling content that engages and grows our global audience, promotes brand awareness, and drives thought leadership and lead generation.
Key responsibilities will include:
Managing content:
1. Develop and own the yearly content calendar to ensure consistency across channels and target audiences
2. Collaborate with the Marketing colleagues to align their content plan with the overall strategy and proactively suggest topics and opportunities to repurpose existing content
3. Manage external agencies and freelancers and ensure they deliver high quality content within deadline and budget
4. Support the team in designing and producing high-quality content (in-house and with agencies), including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, videos, and infographics and publish them on the website
5. Ensure content is optimized for SEO and aligns with brand guidelines and tone of voice
6. Manage the content and distribution of our external quarterly newsletter and promotional/nurturing emails for webinars liaising with the Regional, Vertical, Design and Marketing Automation colleagues
7. Support various topics such as internal deal announcements and the creation of pitch decks
Managing organic social media:
8. Drive the brief, ideation, design and production of compelling organic social media content that engages and grows our global audience and supports the overall marketing and business strategy
9. Manage the social media calendar, day-to-day organic posting on our corporate LinkedIn channel and foster community engagement by responding to comments and mentions. Provide copy and visuals to Fioneers on ad-hoc basis
10. Regularly update our YouTube channel with the latest videos and make improvements
11. Advise our Employer Branding colleagues on strategy and posts on Instagram
12. Measure and monitor the performance of the SAP Fioneer social media channels and make adjustments according to learnings
13. Keep abreast of the latest trends in social media and educate Fioneers on best practices
14. For experienced candidates this role may expand to include responsibilities for paid social media campaigns

Requirements
20. Experience in managing organic social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and YouTube, with a proven track record of driving engagement and growth, ideally in the B2B SaaS / financial services industry.
21. Strong ability to ideate, produce, and optimize high-quality written and visual content across various formats, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, videos, and infographics.
22. Proficiency in optimizing content for SEO to enhance visibility and reach across digital channels.
23. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines and deliver impactful campaigns.
24. Experience in measuring and analyzing social media and content performance metrics to inform strategy and drive continuous improvement.
25. Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging tailored to different audiences and channels.
26. Strong attention to detail in content creation and distribution, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
27. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
28. Technology and AI-savvy, with a strong interest in emerging technologies and digital trends
29. Collaborative team player who values sharing knowledge and best practices, with a positive attitude and the ability to inspire and generate enthusiasm for projects
30. Fluent in written and spoken English; German desirable
