Job Description
As Co-Head of our ARD Department and lead of our agribusiness team, you will:
* Contribute to Strategy and Leadership: Define the strategic direction of our agribusiness portfolio while ensuring its financial and operational success.
* Develop Business: Expand and nurture relationships with agribusinesses, financial institutions, impact investors, and other key stakeholders.
* Lead Complex Projects: Oversee acquisition, execution, and quality assurance of multidisciplinary projects, including feasibility studies, market assessments, investment due diligence related to climate-smart agriculture and sustainable supply chains.
* Build and Empower Teams: Manage and mentor a team of about five professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence while scaling the team to meet future growth.
* Promote Sustainable Impact: Guide initiatives that enhance sustainability, improve access to finance, and create enabling environments for agricultural transformation.
Requirements
We are looking for a results-driven leader with:
* Relevant Education: Masters in agriculture, agribusiness, business administration, or related discipline.
* Agribusiness Experience: 7+ years of experience in private sector development projects, advisory services, and strategic analysis.
* Networking Skills: You are able to build relationships based on trust and proximity with key players in agribusiness, finance, and development sectors.
* Leadership: You have demonstrated ability to manage teams, foster talent, and inspire collaboration.
* Client-Centric Approach: Understand and respond to customer needs to deliver tailored / innovative solutions.
* Communication: Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
* Language skills: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German, French, or Spanish is highly desirable.
