Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Lab Assistant (m/f/d) in fulltime (37.5 hours/week) for our quality laboratory at production site in Langenfeld.
What will you be doing?
* Performance of wet-chemical and instrumental-analytical incoming goods, outgoing goods and wastewater inspections, including practical electroplating tests
* Documentation of the tests carried out in the laboratory information management system
* Blocking and releasing batches in the ERP system
* Monitoring the test equipment and supporting the test equipment officer
* Maintaining standards and equipment
* Documentation maintenance and filing (e.g. certificates of analysis)
* Compliance with environmental and occupational safety requirements
* Performing quality inspections on returned, expired and rejected goods
* Assessing the further course of action when defective goods are discovered, including the necessary interdepartmental communication
* Performing laboratory tests
* Reviewing test plans and initiating test plan and recipe changes
Who are You?
* Analytical expertise, with a focus on inorganic chemistry
* Basic knowledge of statistics desirable
* Preparation of reports
* Good understanding of technical problems and the ability to solve them
* Good knowledge of MS Office
* Basic knowledge of written and spoken English
* Ability to work in a team and under pressure
What competencies will you need?
* Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory assistant
* Professional experience in the above-mentioned field of activity
