Business Development & Partnership Manager (all genders welcome)
at the Kia Connect GmbH in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Job mission:
As Manager Business Development, you will take the lead in leveraging connected car data and features to design and implement innovative business
models and paid services. Your role will focus on identifying opportunities, building business cases, negotiating, and concluding contracts to generate
revenue and create value for end customers. Acting as the primary liaison with business partners, you will shape the future of Kia Connect’s ecosystem
through strategic partnerships and innovative monetization strategies.
Your Responsibilities:
Business Model Innovation
1. Scout for new monetization opportunities leveraging connected car data and on-demand features.
2. Conceptualize, evaluate, and test innovative business models to enhance customer value and drive revenue.
3. Develop detailed business cases, including financial analysis and ROI projections, to support new initiatives.
Market Analysis & Strategy
4. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive benchmarks.
5. Analyze market potential for connected car services and integrate findings into actionable business strategies.
Partnership Development
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners to co-create and commercialize new services.
7. Negotiate and conclude contracts with business partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Performance Management
8. Measure the performance of business models using unit economics, customer lifetime value, and other key metrics.
9. Implement feedback loops to refine strategies and optimize results.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
10. Partner with customer experience, data analytics, and technical teams to align business objectives with operational capabilities.
11. Drive cross-departmental initiatives to ensure seamless implementation of new services.
Your talents:
Education:
12. University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
13. Minimum 6 years of experience in business development, with expertise in building business cases and financial modeling, ideally in a startup environment and/or in the mobility industry.
14. Proven track record in initiating, negotiating, and concluding successful business agreements.
Skills:
15. Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a results-driven mindset.
16. Expertise in market analysis, financial modeling, and contract negotiation.
17. Exceptional negotiation, collaboration, and communication skills.
