Hauptaufgaben
Serves as an assistant to the Chairperson, Case Review Committee (CRC), in the management, evaluation, and reporting of child abuse and spouse abuse cases. Incumbent coordinates the preparation of initial incident reports by receiving, verifying, and compiling information concerning incident and/or family members, researching precedent cases or files, and assuring complete and accurate information. As directed, assures that medical and psychological evaluations are reported to the FBMC CRC and/or other appropriate medical, social service and legal personnel (e.g., Army Child Development Services, Child Protective Service, law enforcement, Army Substance Abuse Program, etc.); compiles and forwards child/spouse abuse incident reports to the Medical Command (MEDCOM) Army Central Registry. Incumbent provides assistance in coordinating quality assurance criteria for all cases managed, assuring appointments, notifications, and determinations are accomplished within established timeframes. Maintains accurate CRC case files, referral directories, current information on available community resources, and Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Army (DA), and Medical Command (MEDCOM) material pertaining to the Family Advocacy Program. The incumbent provides information and assistance to service/family members on services available; transfers cases to other jurisdictions, military or civilian, as appropriate; as directed, assures that unit commanders are advised of the continuing status on all cases.
Prepares for and participates in Case Review Committee (CRC) meetings to include preparation of agendas and minutes. Assures accuracy and timeliness of case information presented to the CRC. Based upon evidence and recommendations of the team, assists in making arrangements for legal counsel to represent children in sex abuse and/or other cases, assists in coordinating resources for psychological assessments and other service delivery, and assists in the implementation of treatment plans and follow-up services.
The incumbent performs a variety of administrative clerical support functions for the Chief, Family Advocacy and staff members: Receives telephone calls and visitors to the Family Advocacy Program clinic; serves as the first point of contact for service/family members who may be experiencing emotional stress, anxiety, and/or psychiatric problems. Ascertains nature of call or visit, and based upon knowledge of the organization, determines which should be referred to supervisor, other staff members, or other clinic facilities, and which can be handled personally. Incumbent secures necessary reference or background material to enable supervisor or staff to answer inquiries. Receives and reads incoming correspondence and reports; determines those that can be handled personally and directs others to supervisor or appropriate staff member; composes correspondence, letters of transmittal, acknowledgments, etc., from brief oral and/or written instructions; reviews all outgoing correspondence and other materials submitted for the supervisor's signature to ensure material is presented in compliance with suspense's, current procedures and policies, proper format, grammar, typographical accuracy, and that necessary and appropriate background materials are attached. Incumbent discusses inaccuracies with originator to ensure corrections or to obtain necessary materials. Incumbent performs a variety of miscellaneous administrative and clerical duties; makes arrangements for equipment and supplies; sets up and maintains office files; maintains daily records and compiles required reports; prepares travel orders and vouchers. Incumbent serves as back up for Adult Services front desk during the lunch hour or other times as needed; greets and checks clients in for appointments, or walks-in un-scheduled clients, and ensures clients have and complete proper paperwork prior to being seen; schedules appointments, answers phones, and directs patients and calls to the appropriate provider.
Incumbent types a variety of narrative and tabular materials (correspondence, memos, databases, reports, records, etc.) into automated equipment utilizing the full range of keys, codes, proofing symbols, functions, and applications to develop products in final form. Incumbent is responsible for correct punctuation, spelling, format, grammar, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned.

C-5:
E&T Level I: 2 years of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
Current employees who do not meet E&T Level I and who are not in the same or similar occupation must have 2 additional years of creditable experience as described in A below.
E&T Level II: 1 year of creditable experience as defined in A below PLUS 1 year of experience as defined in B below.
E&T Level III and above: No additional experience required.
Current employees who have served one year in the same or similar occupation are qualified for the next higher grade.
Experience A: Included clerical work in an office or store, working with computers, bookkeeping, making and recording inventories, telephone marketing, arranging for events or as a cashier, etc.
Experience B: Experience in the same or similar line of work as the job for which considered. The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the particular knowledge, skills and abilities required in the position. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty to the position to be filled.
• Office automation skills are required.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English Language Proficiency level C1 AND German Language Proficiency level B2 required.
