ABOUT THE JOB
You will be responsible for all aspects of the business in Germany, leading the continued growth and profitability of the business going forward, ensuring that all objectives, goals, and targets set are met, and contributing to the overall business objective.
Requirements
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Manage the financial and physical resources of the business to deliver targeted increases in market share, brand awareness, footfall, sales, and profitability.
• Take an active leading role in shaping the commercial business and leveraging the local team’s knowledge and expertise.
• Provide direction for the business and develop the country’s business plans, include time frames and budget requirements, along with the sales forecasts that deliver company objectives.
• Establish and maintain the brand positioning, ensuring consistency with the group
marketing strategy but allowing innovation to meet the needs of the market.
• Manage, inspire, and motivate local teams to achieve targets, add value, and achieve high standards of customer service. Contribute to creating a culture where colleagues own and take pride in their performance.
• Develop and mentor employees, encouraging personal development and enhancement of skill levels, ensuring that training and development take place where appropriate.
• Represent the company’s interests with the trade and government agencies, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
• Review, evaluate, and improve existing systems, processes, and procedures.
• Promote and develop cross-functional relationships and communications at all levels throughout the company in coordination with the board members.
• Carry out from time to time and as directed any other duties as required in addition to the above.
• Take care of your health and safety and that of others at all times by ensuring that subsidiaries in the country comply with the health and safety obligations of each country and that any reported defects, risks, or potential hazards are dealt with promptly.
Profile Requirements
• Excellent command of the English language, both in written and oral form .
• Experience of successfully leading and managing change, translating organizational ambitions into real and measurable achievements.
• A proven track record of successful business leadership within a multi-disciplined organization, including the formulation and delivery of corporate strategies, policies.
• Able to plan strategically, build consensus, and project the company’s vision
• Able to provide visible and supportive leadership and to foster a positive work environment through empowering, enabling, motivating, and developing others
