Role Purpose Monitors daily operations of a unit and actively assists, or provides direction to, subordinates as required. Performs ongoing operational tasks of organizational units. Manages projects to improve overall efficiency Key Responsibilities 1. Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods within the warehouse. Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient operations. Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations. Implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and ensure safety. Manage the efficient utilization of warehouse space and inventory control. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local warehousing in colaboration to the support departments. Handle and resolve issues regarding shipment or inventory discrepancies. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies. Utilize logistics IT systems to optimize procedures. Prepare and present performance reports. Proven experience as a logistics supervisor or a similar role in supply chain management. Experiences/Education - Required Engineering Degree B. Years of Experience. 1 years of experience in similar position CTPAT/OEA knowledge is a plus C. Technical Skills. Mid English level, write and read Problem solving tools Logistics experience Excellent computer skills (Including, but not limited to: Windows, Office, Project Manager, Excel) SAP is a plus D. Soft Skills. Work independently, and proactively High sense of urgency High level of responsibility Focused in achieve the goals Good communications skills Teamwork Experiences/Education - Desired Experience with process and quality tools Project management experience would be also a plus Six Sigma training. A Green or Black Belt certification preferred Experience with Lean Manufacturing concepts.
