Primary Purpose: The Account Executive will maintain and develop the Wholesale business for Tapestry’s brands across Central Europe, with a focus on growing independent accounts including Ludwig Beck and Steffl.
The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Wholesale to:
1. Assist the Account Manager with requests from key accounts and directly manage independent accounts
2. Act as a first point of contact for multi-brand accounts
3. Execute four markets a year across Women’s & Men’s Leathergoods, lead appointments with independent accounts and present the collection during market
4. Track sales weekly, monthly & quarterly and analyse to highlight key trends & challenges
5. Produce seasonal trade reports to highlight seasonal wins, challenges and opportunities
6. Develop short term seasonal plans to meet sell-through targets
7. Work on ATS swaps and re-orders to drive trade in season
8. Drive trade and in season actions through an omni channel approach with regular site canvassing for partners with online channels
9. Support with planning of quarterly and yearly sales forecast with Sales Manager
10. Develop the distribution network, onboarding new independent accounts and prospecting in line with regional strategy
11. Work closely with cross functional teams on the order lifecycle, including order upload, tracking inbound and outbound shipments and delivery of the order book
12. With the support of the Account Manager, communicate with Accounts Receivable on independent account balances
13. Partner with field teams on implementing training and lead product knowledge training with accounts
14. Coordinate and support in-store marketing initiatives and events, manage ROI reports with stores and coordinate samples
15. Collect client orders and processing
16. Support new store openings in coordination with cross-functional partners and accounts
17. Organise store visits and provide comprehensive feedback and actions to improve trade
18. Regularly update the client database
19. Work closely with VM to ensure high standards are delivered across stores
The accomplished individual will possess:
20. 2+ years’ experience in Wholesale/Sales, managing accounts
21. Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Fashion Management or similar
22. Fluent in German and English
23. Additional European language skills is a plus
24. Strong experience with Microsoft 365, including Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
25. Highly motivated and target driven to achieve sales
26. Team player, confident and dynamic
27. Excellent communication and organisational skills
28. A self-starter able to independently manage time and workload effectively
