Lead the strategic direction, development, and global operations of the cybersecurity function to ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and the protection of digital assets. Act as a close partner to the leadership team, driving a cybersecurity-aware culture and aligning security initiatives with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance:
1. Develop and implement global cybersecurity strategies, policies, and roadmaps aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
2. Monitor regulatory landscapes, update policies (e.g., data protection, access control), and establish a unified governance framework.
3. Lead security awareness programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Cybersecurity Architecture:
1. Establish security requirements for system architecture to improve resilience and reduce vulnerabilities.
2. Perform threat modelling, risk assessments, and promote advanced security technologies.
3. Oversee global cybersecurity operations, including Managed Security Services, SOC, CSIRT, and security assessments like penetration testing.
Cybersecurity Operations:
1. Serve as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), managing global security operations and incident response.
2. Leverage advanced technologies to safeguard assets and maintain a robust cybersecurity posture.
3. Lead and develop the cybersecurity team, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with global growth objectives.
Leadership & Resource Management:
1. Manage financial and human resources within cybersecurity, fostering a culture aligned with organizational values.
2. Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders on strategy, performance, and external engagements.
3. Support team development through coaching, feedback, and skill-building initiatives.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field.
2. 10-15 years of experience in information security, with 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
3. Expertise in security architecture, incident response, risk management, and cybersecurity technologies (e.g., cloud, encryption, IAM).
4. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA preferred.
5. Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on adaptability and stakeholder alignment.
6. Proven ability to lead diverse teams and cultivate a positive, results-oriented culture.
