* Creation of the safety planning, the safety analysis (PHA, FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, Reliability), the functional and technical safety concept and the safety case
* Direct contact person for customers to coordinate product requirements regarding functional safety
* Interface and support in the projects and contact person for questions regarding functional and product safety as well as validation of these requirements
* Support of the development team in the implementation of safety concepts on system, hardware and software level
* Carrying out safety design reviews
* Ensuring training for project engineers
* Participation in Valeo standardization for functional safety
* Continuous improvement of Valeo safety processes
* Establishment of the safety culture at Valeo
* Ensure continuous customer satisfaction
* Close cooperation with project management and the entire project team

* Completed engineering studies or comparable education
* Several years of professional experience in embedded system, hardware or software design, ideally in the automotive industry
* Sound knowledge of product safety, ISO, SOTIF as well as requirements management and documentation
* Fluent in English and confident in dealing with customers
